My wife does that......two pieces of toast and nuked cheese. When I do grilled cheese I go all the way. Jarlsberg cheese on seeded rye with sauerkraut, russian dressing and bacon.....sort of a bacon rubin. Cooked in a frying pan with plenty of butter.

Au contraire. I used to go to Jacob Wirth's in Boston and float in on the smell of sauerkraut and dark beer. My wife has gone vegan, so if I want to keep from dying I sort of have, too. Last night we had pasta with a tomato sauerkraut sauce....mmmm. The best kraut comes from Morse's Sauerkraut & European Deli in Waldoboro Maine.
