The EU has committed to doing something about climate change. Industry makes fat stacks the way things are. Massive public subsidies are being given to industrial power players to develop cleaner stuff. This means the population needs to be taxed more to pay for those subsidies. The French are the only ones rioting over this bullshit.

It’s not a long con limited to the EU. Cancer charities funded by the public work out of big pharmaceutical labs, who then privately patent any successfully implemented drug trials. The public pays for it industry profits. Same with weapons, any bio-tech, Etc etc. Been going on for decades. Climate Change is just a new buzzword being used by these people to rinse the public.
