    Could be an implication of lag, its what happens to me with every comment. Looks blank like nothing happened, but after a refresh its there.

    The comments, scores, likes, stfus, etc on a post are all cached by about 5 seconds. That's a server-side cache.

    Meaning if someone loads this page RIGHT NOW, the earliest time anyone else will be able to load an updated version of that page is 5 seconds from now.
