    I believe that "log burner" is a Franklin stove, invented by founding father and hellfire member Ben Franklin. It is supposed to be in the center of the room for optimum heat distribution.

    Franklin also invented the bifocals and was partial to air baths. Often could he be found buck fucking naked with Madam Pompador in the garden, discussing philosophy, much to the chagrin of future president John Adams who was in France with him to drum up support for the Revolution.
