This video raises a question for me. Were we REALLY the best at trying to conquer the world? The best during that period, sure, but that's once we had gunpowder. What made us the best?
I'm wildly speculating, but does having Neaderthal blood play a part? It's what sets us apart anthropologically. Is this some kind of reddit post that I'm writing here? lel so stoned.

There's this passage attributed to Charles Darwin (not sure if that's accurate) wherein he discusses the African people. Their continent is beyond rich with natural resources from the land and sea. Exotic wildlife to be domesticated. Luxuries such as gems and ore. Yet they never thought to harness this. They live in mud huts thousands of years behind everyone else.
And then I remembered that of all the gorillas who ever learned sign language, not one ever asked an existential question. But a parrot did, so that was pretty cool.

Okay, maybe it's a bit sinister, but it has some good historical truths. I know my history and I've verified a lot of morally justifiable acts of white people. The point for me is that white people are obligated to have a global consciousness, whereas other developed cultures retain are far more Nationalistic culture.
