Bear meat is gamey like venison, more fatty, can be tough like beefalo if not cooked properly.

Had bear in school. We had a cub and its mother. Both were uneatable even after the cook tried everything in her book of tricks to hide the flavor.

While the doc is about it, ask for a face lift to look years younger.
A bear mauling that took place near the Denali Highway in the state of Alaska, USA on April 15th, 2016. Circumstances of the attack are still unclear but the bear left an indelible impression on the victim (clearly a hunter interested only in bragging rights instead of food). Authorities have not released the name of the victim but he is expected to survive.
