Is the server time off? These comments are a few minutes old yet it's showing they were posted 9 hours ago here on my end. My date and time are correct so it can't be me

Because cuckford, I am using a jquery plugin so that timestamps update on their own even after you load the page. (your "just now" will turn into "a minute ago" if I let it sit)
THIS requires a timestamp to be provided in a specific format. Since JS uses a local timestamp, I have to specify in the script that the server time is UTC - 7, or 6 or 8 or whatever the fuck depending on Daylight Savings Time.
It's harder than it sounds to just set "server time" as the default and display the same thing to everyone.

Right, the timestamp should be determined by the code the browser translates from the server and whatever time zone you're in determines the stamp. I dumped my cache and all that shit so if it's working itself out for other people I'm sure it'll be the same for me but it just hasn't appeared on my end yet.
