@UUoody, I don't believe hosting this type of content creates any extremists as long as we can talk and joke about it. For me it's solely a question of legality.
Murders cannot be "produced" in the same way that harmful porn or dogfighting videos can. They can't do it over and over to sell to an audience of actual sick fucks. That's the important distinction I make.
Murder just ... happens. Sometimes on camera. Usually because of something highly personal. Posting it online after-the-fact doesn't change anything.

One thing I noticed while trolling around on various social media platforms the last 2 days, is that the more you try to make these things hard to find, the more the conspiracy theorists on the right think that its all fake false flag and censorship (yes i can complain about the right too). Which only serves to make them more radicalized.
I'll take the criticism that its not entertainment, but I do disagree that it should be removed.
I actually wish that mainstream media would not only air this in its fullness on their websites, but also the other slaughters done by ISIS and muslims all across the globe. Because shushing it or pretending it doesn't happen, is basically what they do, and that's how you end up with someone like this guy in the first place.

What I meant was if we aren’t allowed to see it we don’t know what it’s like. I mean we already know bad things are going on all over the world ,it’s not like the 1800s when no one really knew what it was like or had any idea what people were capable of until they had to come face to face with it ( like the civil war in the states or war anywhere for that matter) , but nowadays we all know this happens daily but have no real gauge as to how horrible it really is. Watching videos like this brings the world into your living room or dingy piss bottle filled basement or how ever half of you live... anyways my point is if we don’t see it, it never really happened it’s just another news story to forget about in a day or two because people have the attention span of a gold fish from an overload of modern information. It brings a factor of human suffering into what was just another story. I’m sure there are people who whacked off to it but everyone I know was affected by this no matter their ideology’s or religion or whatever they said while shit posting on the internet.

Desensitized probably wasn’t the right wording, but with all of the fake death and what not we see on tv and other media as a whole, people have been desensitized. It isn’t until they see reality that they get sickened. Even then the way this guy made it look like a fps almost completely took away from the totality of the video.
In other words people need to see the real thing to shake their fake version of what it’s like. which is why war videos, murder videos, and accident videos actually help in a way. It shows how fucked up things really are and probably keeps people from putting themselves into those situations knowing the world is not a safe space and bad things do happen in real life.

Mainstream media portrayals of events are for the most part propaganda. The bias viewpoint that pushes an agenda, or paints an action as something it isn’t. As in this case ‘it’s an act of terrorism” which it isn’t, it’s just murder. It seeks to influence popular thought on what a required perception needs to be. It’s a distraction of what actually is.
People post this stuff for entertainment, to be edgy, for some fleeting self validation. It spreads to conspiracy sites to further distract people with bullshit theories like false flag attacks.
What you are (again for the most part) left with is several narrow pointed, diluted, and ultimately worthless viewpoints arguing about which is correct. Further distraction, and the population forced to choose between several bias examples of the original event. Something snaps in someone’s head and shit like this happens, the cycle repeats. Nobody looks to the cause, because all that is portrayed are the symptoms.

The only thing I disagree with is that I think its terrorism. Because he planned it for 2 years, and part of his goal was to hopefully scare muslims into not immigrating.
