    Even our legal system is becoming political. The Supreme Court is almost completely partisan at this point. Sort of seems like politics in the USA have been pushing toward another civil war for about 20 years. Life is too comfortable and civilized for a standard civil war though so we are currently in a "cold" civil war. Trump only makes it worse. Half of it just seems like Republicans/the south wanting revenge for losing the first civil war.
