As i recall it, the artist pretended to be ellie d on original classic ms for a good number of years. The only notable submission pre-crash was a comic of ellie d being decapitated by a goth-looking deja vu over yak. So, after the reboot, it was revealed that ellie d was really a guy. He made a new account and lurked around in the tinychat days. The previous strip is based in an actual tinychat session. The furry was just some guy. The way tinychat worked was that random users from the room would have a still photo from their cam posted on a browsing page, and when it happened that heather or ohsnap or fluffernutter or zombee or any of the other hot babes were in the first few browsing pages, random guys would join, hoping for sexytimes. The reason why the artist linked tr with milkbone is due to me broadcasting audio but not video (and naturally dominating the conversation with my usual command of myriad subjects and prodigious prolixity of facts).
Anyway, the whole story arc on shotgunshuffle.com is called "the chain" and ultimately stars yak, a faceless dejavu, and the mysterious lava in a mostly made up story involving lava secretly hiding webcams in ellie d's apartment and using the footage for a cam site, thinking he had tricked ellie into signing a release, but she actually signed lava's name, so yak beat him up, dumped him at the police station, yelling as he drove away something about "he sells drugs to children," and buying ellie a car to avoid getting sued. Then it turns out that "tiredguy" who is ellie d's neighbor, owns match.com or something. I kind of lost interest after my appearance...it is no "girls with slingshots."

Well see, I knew about old Mucho for years. I was actually active on it for a few months, got really into the meta game, the user pics and stuff. Didn't care for the feuds and whatever, just the OC. It felt ... pure. Old net style.
I quit a long time ago, and it quickly faded into memory.
It was dead to me the same way that Ebaums was. You know? If you asked me I would never consider myself a "Muchoer."
Then one day I see a link to Zucko and do a fucking double take on this post. It was nostalgia city.
Imagine being plunged back in time, and all your favorite entertainers are still alive and in their prime.
I never considered my time on MS to be relevant.

If you're talking about these posts specifically, I recognized the "characters" of Kirk and Freshie right away.
I only put together that this was the "new" site after Boner started rolling out updates and fixes.

Although there have been a few times where I recognize certain peoples' style and stuff from MS. It was a neat throwback to 10 years ago.

I tried reading that comic, it was some of the gayest shit I ever read, despite reading Spider-Man and some modern day Marvel comics. Its weird that something so gay was somehow inspired by Mucho, but it wasn't very mucho at all.
And how in the hell does it have fans? What is the attraction? Was funny to see the mucho user parodies though.
