I came up with that idea when I saw 3 old men on MS make 150 comments about model planes in a single night
I use 2 queries to build the recent comment list. It'll only take a maximum number of Parent comments, and a number of Child comments.
That way, nobody can spam one thread and have it be the only one showing up on Recent
