True story....I used to work in the Statler office building in Boston that was part of the old Statler Hotel. One night a guy intent on killing himself rents a room on the fifth floor....a cheep room that had a window opening onto a central courtyard. Unbeknownst to him, the first four floors of the courtyard were filled in with kitchens and stuff. So he writes a note, gets snot flying drunk, opens the window, and does a Superman exit. He falls four feet to a gravel roof and got a bloody face.
